Hi! I have been serving as the Children’s Ministry Coordinator since January 2014. My role consists of overseeing POWER Kids, our newborn through 5th grade group, planning and directing events related to children and families (Bible Camp, Family Egg Hunt, and others), and helping make connections across ministries so we can best serve children and families at Medina East Campus. Together with a fantastic team of volunteers, we strive to create an environment in POWER Kids that is a safe and fun place to investigate Jesus. We want kids to know how much God loves them, and we want to partner with parents in investing in the next generation! I believe that children are a gift, and we have an opportunity to invest our time and energy in sharing the truth about Jesus while seeing every child as made in the image of God. As I think about POWER Kids and impacting the next generation, Deuteronomy 6 comes to mind: committing wholeheartedly to sharing God and seizing daily opportunities to do so. My husband, Joe, and I together with our five girls have a joy-filled and most definitely lively life together in which we daily recognize our need for Jesus and strive to live out the Gospel while investing the time we have together as a family well. We are thankful to be a part of Medina East Campus and what God is doing here. It is a privilege to serve and be partnering with families in sharing the Gospel!
